Barbara Serrano (AKA Barbi Quinn), is a native New Yorker from Elmhurst, Queens. She started tapping into her artistic abilities a few years ago while studying Early Childhood Education in Grad school. With a background and interest in film and writing, she didn’t think she had what it takes to paint and draw, now it's one of her favorite things to do. Recently during the Covid lockdown in 2020, she began to explore more into digital media by editing photographs using her iPad. Creating these digital collages, it allows herself to reflect as a whole, from her love to comic books and anime, to exploring her own mental and physical health. She hopes that those that view her art, feel inspired to find a hidden talent within themselves.
